Overall, it was a nice start. We had about half a dozen adults and a few young ones. The Mittehalle is quite children friendly and the children were organized with games whilst the grownups played backgammon. It was a nice start and nice that the environment was so sociable. The consensus of the group was to keep things social and establish a regular meeting. Same time, same place each Sunday. We can look to establishing a ladder andaybe a tournament in the future but, for now, I think the group likes the idea of doing something social.
